For the second year running, we are excited to sponsor Promotional Products Week. Taking place from the 15th – 19th September 2014, this national campaign has been created by the British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA).
Designed to raise the profile of the promotional merchandise market among end-users, Promotional Products Week demonstrates why merchandise such as clothing, is an integral element to marketing campaigns. The aim is for companies to recognise the value of promotional products and understand the different ways they can improve brand awareness.
In fact the UK promotional products market is worth £843 million per year, which is more than the UK designer clothing industry (£750 million)!
As an official sponsor of the event Fruit has contributed a number of our recently launched Sofspun® T-shirts. Look out for them throughout the week – they may pop up in some interesting places!
Our new 100% cotton Sofspun® T’s are the first of their kind in the industry. Made from open-end yarn, they have all the print and environmental benefits that open-end yarn offers, but with the soft feel of combed ringspun cotton. You no longer have to compromise between excellent print quality results, environmental credentials and a soft handle.
Designed with a fashion fit, our Men’s and Lady-Fit Sofspun® T’s (160/165gm/m²) are ideal for retail, tourism, licensing, music merchandising and corporate wear. Ten bold colours are available: Sunflower, Red, Orange, Kelly Green, Royal Blue, Fuchsia, Heather Grey, Deep Navy, Black and White. Men’s sizes S-3XL, ladies sizes XS – 2XL. Kids sizes launching in 2015.
Up to 600 BPMA members are taking part in Promotional Products Week, which is supported by a high profile marketing, social media and PR campaign. Established in 1965, the BPMA is one of the UK’s leading industry bodies dedicated to promoting best practice around the sourcing, manufacturing and distribution of promotional products.
